Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try. Communities across the nation are hosting events in celebration of Bike Month.
Bike Month is a great time to start your journey toward making the World a better place one bicycle ride at a time! The League of American Bicyclist organizes, host, and promotes numerous events throughout Bike Month.
- National Ride a Bike Day: Sunday, May 3
- National Bike to Work Day: Friday, May 15
- National Bike to Work Week: Monday, May 11- Sunday, May 17
