adventurECO’s Request a Bike service facilitates low barrier access to refurbished bicycles for those in need of a bicycle for transportation purposes (i.e., utilitarian cycling). Approved assistance requests are provided at no cost and do not require referrals, caseworkers, or follow up requirements. Request a Bike assistance includes:
- refurbished bicycle
- helmet
- front and rear lights
- bicycle cable lock
- basic tool kit
- delivery of bicycle and accessories to arranged meeting point
- bicycle safety and commuting instruction
