The Piedmont Environmental Council is hosting the 6th Annual Charlottesville / Albemarle Active Mobility Summit on March 5 and 6, 2026 at the Wool Factory. This year’s summit will focus on the myriad and diverse economic and social benefits of active mobility infrastructure.

Cyclists, walkers, runners, hikers, and those interested in promoting active lifestyles and access to the outdoors are invited to attend. No matter your background, all are welcome! The Thursday evening session will feature presentations, keynote speaker, and time for networking. Friday will feature morning work sessions focusing on practical solutions, and afternoon field trips. Both sessions will include snacks, drinks, and ways to get involved. The Mobility Summit is free, but registration is required.
